At the 3rd International ELT Conference held on September 22 and 23, 2022, speakers representing different entities and institutions dedicated to the teaching of English attended. In this 2-day meeting, topics of common interest for teachers in the area of teaching and learning english from different educational institutions in the city of Quibdó were discussed. On this occasion and on behalf of the Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó, professor Oscar Vásquez Vallejo shared with the attendees different methodologies, techniques and innovation initiatives applied to the teaching of English through the application of Augmented Reality as a motivating and immersive tool in the learning of a second language.
